“My philosophy in treatment of patients is the golden rule to treat patients like you would want to be treated. I want my patients to be proactive in restoring, detoxifying, and maintaining their health by using whole foods and healthy lifestyle practices to build the foundations of health. I continue to learn and by combining the knowledge of time honored principles and new ideas, patients can make breakthroughs in achieving their health goals.”

“Let us help you add life to your years and years to your life.”

Hai Jin Kim, MD is a board certified family practice physician who practices integrative and holistic medicine. As she puts it, “There is no other way to practice responsibly unless it is holistic.”

After several years into practice, the sobering reality of the inadequacies of the current pharmaceutical-based medical model for chronic conditions set in. This realization fueled the quest for a more functional and holistic approach to health. Shifting the focus away from disease and moving towards prevention and wellness has been her primary goal with her clients. Starting from the basics with nutrition and healthy living to awareness of the impact of potential environmental toxins, chronic infections, etc, her personal quest is to empower her clients through education and equipping them with tools to make positive and sustainable life changes.

As a family practitioner, she welcomes newborns, adults and families.

Dr. Kim is a graduate of Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA and completed her residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center, an affiliate program of The Medical College of Virginia/VCU.  In 2014, Dr. Kim acquired her American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine certification.

Our DIETICIAN/NUTRITIONAL THERAPIST

HeadshotAli Boone is a Holistic Dietitian, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Certified Life Coach. Using a whole foods approach, she focuses on strengthening digestion, gut health, blood sugar control, adrenal function, hormone balance, and immunity.

Having worked in the fitness field as a Dietitian and Personal Trainer for several years, she has seen firsthand how “mainstream” nutrition and following a calorie restricted, low-fat diet leaves people feeling deprived, exhausted, and right back to where they started.

Ali uses Nutritional Therapy to get to the root cause of ailments rather than just treating the symptoms. She has worked with clients to reverse diabetes, overcome weight loss plateaus, improve diagnosed gastrointestinal conditions, remove digestive stressors, reduce anxiety, and increase energy levels, memory, and concentration.

She believes that living a healthy lifestyle is about finding balance, managing the stressors, and creating a life full of abundance.

Ali works closely with her clients to create structure and establish short-term and long-term goals that are achievable and sustainable. She prides herself on building relationships with her clients and empowering them to take back their health and well-being.
